Career & Opportunities
Early Career Researchers
TPChange offers various options for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to strengthen their profile. Courses on networking, presentation, academic writing as well as support for conference visits are offered. Our summer- and winter schools provide the ECRs with basic knowledge on TPChange topics and help continuing their work effectively. Furthermore, we want to foster exchange among all ECRs in order to increase each individual’s network and to facilitate collaborations.
PhD Support Groups (PSGs) are formed for all TPChange PhD candidates in order to create a place where the development of the PhD project can be discussed, formed and improved.

ECR Representatives
The interests of the TPChange ECRs are represented by three PhD candidates and Postdocs. They send a deputy as a full member to the meetings of the Scientific Steering Group and are points of contact for all ECRs and the TPChange management

ECR Ombudspersons
You as TPChange ECR can reach out to your ombudspersons if you have a question or a conflict and need a neutral and discreet point of contact. Both Martina and Heiko are connected to TPChange and know the atmospheric science community, but are no active project leaders for TPChange at the moment.

Equity and Diversity Committee
The Equity and Diversity (ED) Committee plans and executes measures to promote ED and unites perspectives from project leaders, Early Career Researchers and TPChange coordination. It decides on requests for ED measures and reports back to the Scientific Steering Group and the General Assembly.
